In March 2014, 13 years old girl updated his Facebook status that his father is raping her from the last one year. This Facebook True Story is of area Gurdaspur, District Batala, India where this girl updates his status which caused Indian Police and other Civil Authorities to take action. Girl told the police that his father Raj Kumar Sharma is raping her.
Police said the girl, a resident of Sri Hargobindpur town. The suspect, Raj Kumar Sharma, who storms from Gonda district in Uttar Pardesh, maintains a small orthopedic shop, police said. Kumar yesterday raped minor daughter, a class seventh student, under the encouragement of alcohol.
He was committing the offence for over a year, they said.
Girl’s mother, who had left her husband Raj Kumar Sharma, last year, lives in Uttar Pardesh. Sharma was living with his daughter, a son and nephew here.
Police has registered a case against the girl’s father Raj Kumar Sharma and has arrested him, now he is in police custody and girl is with a social welfare society where her treatment is going on.
