NEW DELHI: A four-year-old girl was sexually assaulted by a minor in outer Delhi's Begumpur area.
Police said they are yet to apprehend anyone in the case, which happened last week, as the child has not been able to identify the accused. The incident came to light when the child complained of pain in her abdomen. When she was taken to a local hospital, doctors confirmed that the child was sexually assaulted.
A case was registered, following which the cops took the girl to her school for identifying the accused. On being questioned, the girl pointed to a PWD labourer's 16-year-old son, but it was found that the boy was not present at the spot during the incident. Later, the girl also pointed at her cousin. No one has been apprehended because of the lack of clarity, police said.
