JUI-F MNA's degree was challenged by Essa Roshan of Pakhtunkhwa Milli Awami Party (PKMAP).
QUETTA (Dunya News) – Member of National Assembly Maulvi Agha Muhammad of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Fazl (JUI-F) was disqualified on Tuesday by Balochistan Election Tribunal on charges of holding a fake degree, Dunya News reported. A re-election has been ordered by the tribunal in the NA-261 constituency.
The fake degree case was heard by Election Tribunal of Balochistan where JUI-F MNA’s degree was challenged by Essa Roshan of Pakhtunkhwa Milli Awami Party (PKMAP). The tribunal ordered Election Commission to hold re-elections in the constituency.
MNA Maulvi Agha Muhammad of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Fazl (JUI-F) was elected from NA-261 in May 2013 general elections. JUI-F has only two seats in the National Assembly after his disqualification.
