Khan travelling in 16-car protocol is not VIP culture!
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan seems to have failed in practising what he preaches at his daily sermons to supporters at Islamabad’s D-Chowk, as the cricketer-turned-politician arrived at the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister’s House in a 16-car VIP security entourage, a culture that he has vehemently criticised other political leaders of promoting in the country.
While the PTI chief faced criticism from anti-VIP culture activists on social media all day long, he was able to get some moral support from none other than Aseefa Bhutto Zardari, the daughter of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari and sister of Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.
In a message posted on her Twitter timeline, Aseefa said, “It doesn’t matter that IK (Imran Khan) criticises other political leaders for having security. He is still entitled to security.”
According to her, Imran Khan is the head of a political party this he is entitled to security. Pakistan Today
