Bollywood diva Anushka Sharma was kissed by none other than Deepika Padukone who is known for stamping kisses on the cheeks of her friends and colleagues.
Padukone was seen showing love and affection towards Sharma, who as we know is Padukone’s current boyfriend Ranveer Singh’s ex-girlfriend. The Bollywood beauties got together to attend a meeting aimed to discuss the Indian censor board’s proposed ban on abusive language in Hindi films.
The two met warmly and hugged when they met each other, after which Padukone congratulated Sharma for her film NH10′s success. They later posed together for photographs.
Anushka apparently was slightly taken aback after the kiss but was left beaming nonetheless. This may be due to the fact that the two actors seemed to be having a tense relation. When Padukone came on a popular chat show Koffee with Karan, she said Sharma was not her friend, but was mocked by Karan. Later, Sharma herself denied their friendship when she appeared on the same show. “Deepika is not my friend,” she had said.
It was quite incidental then that Johar was present at the censor board meeting where the two Bollywood divas bonded.
