Tree plantation activity to reduce carbon footprints
Karachi: #e2e Supply Chain Management, Pakistan's leading provider of end to end supply chain services commences ‘Give Green’ an initiative for the World Environment Day 2015. Partnering with Cantonment Board Clifton and Charter for Compassion Pakistan, they aim to develop a platform for an ongoing tree plantation activity with the objective of reducing carbon footprints.
Under the umbrella of e2e’s CSR drive, the “Give Green” campaign, the first phase will take place in Phase 7, DHA on 5th June 2015. Employees of e2e as well as from various partnered organizations including e2e subsidiaries PRIME HR and PTO (Pakistan Terminal Operators) will voluntarily participate in the plantation of 800 - 1000 trees. Following this, the drive will continue in various forms in order to achieve the ultimate objective of carbon reduction through tree plantation.
e2e envisions this as being the stepping stone towards cleansing the environment from carbon emission by joining hands with all its stakeholders, partners and environmental organizations who feel deeply for this cause and aspires for a cleaner, greener and better environment for our present and future generation which will lead to a sustainable environmental impact.

The trees also provide sustainable habitat for different species and will enhance the natural landscape. Being an eco-friendly company, e2e’s pledge to plant 60,000 trees by the year 2020 which will be further supported by collaborating with Compassionate Karachi for their campaign ‘Adopt a tree’ to promote awareness among the youth about the environment and to combat the greenhouse gases.
