Indian forces kill 2 Pakistanis, injure 5 in unprovoked firing

SIALKOT: Indian Border Security Forces (BSF) resorted to unprovoked firing and shelling in different sectors in Sialkot along the Line of Control (LoC) killing 2 Pakistani civilian and injuring 5 persons including women and children.

Indian forces opened fire on civilian settlements in Sukhial village on the working boundary near Sialkot district. Several people including children and women sustained injuries in the incident. Some of the injured have been identified as Younas, Bisma, Bano, Sehrish and Yasir.

The injured were shifted to the Combined Military Hospital (CMH).

In another ceasefire violation, the Indian BSF targeted Mathial, Bajwal, Devra and other villages in Bajwat sector. In Chaprar sector, mortar shells landed in Nandpur, Dhol Malanay, Salehpur and Sohailpur villages. 2 persons in Kachimaan village succumbed to  injuries.

Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), said today that Indian forces opened unprovoked firing in village Sukhial  near working boundary in Sialkot on the night between Monday and Tuesday targeting the civilian population. 5 persons including 2 women and 3 children were injured in firing.  Pakistani troops befittingly responded to Indian shelling and silenced their guns.
