RAWALPINDI: Security forces have killed at least 21 terrorists since last night in Shawal valley of North Waziristan, ISPR said on Tuesday.
According to DG Inter Services Public Relations Lt-Gen Asim Bajwa, the terrorists were killed in the air strikes jointly carried out by Pakistan Air Force and Army Aviation and were assisted by ground forces.
The ground forces also continue hunt for fleeing terrorists through chase, cordon and search operations since last night.
The ISPR says important heights and passes along Pak-Afghan border have been secured by the forces and the valley's sanitisation is in progress.
