QUETTA: Army Chief General Raheel Sharif on Thursday said no military in the world has been able to synergise effects as much as the Pakistan Army has single-handedly.
Addressing the participants at Command and Staff College in Quetta, General Raheel said he is proud of commanding, dynamic and resolute force, Director General Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Lt-Gen Asim Saleem Bajwa said.
During the address, chief of army staff emphasised on Pakistan’s resolve as well as strong determination to confront the global phenomenon of terrorism and extremism.
Delving into details regarding the ongoing Operation Zarb-e-Azb, the army chief said it has now entered the combing stage. “He explained how we had transited from hard core kinetic operations to intelligence-based operations and now combing,” the DG ISPR quoted the army chief as saying.
However, referring to the conclusion of operations, General Raheel said, there is still a lot of work left to do in order to reach the final objective.—INP
