Zong 4G Invites Underprivileged Students at its HQ to Showcase Digital Innovation and Pakistan China Friendship


Islamabad: Zong 4G, Pakistan’s No. 1 4G network hosted 10 underprivileged students from Mashal Model School at its headquarters as part of its corporate and social sustainability initiatives. Held under Zong 4G’s ‘A New Hope’ employees’ volunteer program, the activity was centred around Zong 4G’s commitment to making a meaningful impact on the wider community through its work with partner organizations. 

Featuring ten of the school’s brightest students, the visit comprised of a tour of CMPak headquarters where the students were briefed about the numerous departments and functions of a successful multi-national enterprise. Emphasizing the importance of customer care within the organization, students were also given a hands-on demonstration of Zong 4G’s state of the art customer contact centre. Here students took part in numerous activities designed to help develop their leadership and communication skills. 

Lauding Zong 4G’s ‘A New Hope’ Volunteer program, Director Mashal Trust Zeba Husain said, “Working with Zong has opened up a whole new level of possibilities for our students. The enthusiasm and dedication exhibited by all the volunteers is greatly appreciated. I hope that other corporations too follow suit and take such similar initiatives.”

Zong 4G currently hosts Pakistan’s largest and longest running 4G Network. With plans to significantly expand its network footprint, the company remains committed to making a social as well as technological impact with a key focus on sustainability.
