Women Entrepreneurship future discussed at Korangi Association of Trade & Industry
Women Entrepreneurship future discussed at Korangi Association of Trade & Industry (KATI) in a meeting. Member of National Assembly Ghazala Saifi, Senior Vice President of KATI Faraz-ur-Rehman, Vice President Maheen Salman, Chairman & CEO KITE Zubair Chhaya, Senator Abdul Haseeb Khan, Gulzar Firoz, Akbar Farooqui and others expressed their views on the occasion.
MNA of ruling party, Pakistan Tahreek e Insaf, Ghazala Saifi said that there is need of awareness regarding business opportunities among women. She said that well aware and educated women of her economic potentials and role in business can impact society in larger extent. She told that businessman community should work together to provide technical and training assistance to women entrepreneurship.
SVP KATI Faraz-ur-Rehman said that women have a significant role in economic prosperity of the country; there are a lot of opportunities for women specially in SME sector. He assured that KATI would provide maximum assistance to the women entrepreneurs. VP KATI Maheen Salman said that this is time to find innovative solution instead of just debating problems vaguely. She told that policy papers would be prepared on women entrepreneurship with vast input of the businesswomen. Women legislator Ghazala Saifi assured that she will convey and advocate such efforts on decision making level of her party’s government and in the parliament as well.
Zubair Chhaya said that expectations from PTI government were so high and it should be considered during economic policy making. Abdul Haseeb Khan was of view that reform process initially bring brings some difficulties but the situation will soon stabilized. He also urged to establish a mechanism to provide technical assistance and training to women entrepreneurs.
