Despite of coldest weather, huge number of tourists reached Kalash to observe Kalash tribe Chomas Festival 

Despite the severe cold, a large number of non-local tourists came to see the annual festival of the Kailash tribe. Due to the poor condition of the roads and lack of facilities, tourists face numerous  problems.

CHITRAL (Gul Hamaad Farooqi): The annual festival of the Kailash tribe Chomas finalized at Kailash valley, a large number of tourists from all corners of the country, despite the severe cold weather to see Chomas. The main thing about this festival is that the boys wear the girls 'clothes and the girls wear the boys' clothes and dance together. At the festival, the elders of Kailash flush out the fox and seek out it and prophesy the New Year's good or bad.

However, the tourists who came to see this colorful festival complained that the condition of the roads was very poor and lack of facilities. Religious leaders of the Kailash tribe called Qazi said on condition of anonymity that we were forced to No one can speak against the government because government officials have promised us that all the judges in Kailash will get a monthly salary or salary. Now if we criticize them, they are afraid that they will not cancel it. "We are surprised that the provincial government has made a statement in the media that transport to the Kailash people And night lights were also arranged. We saw neither transport nor lighting. Applying a couple of bulbs does not solve our problem. Where the government spends Rs 50 crores on beautification  of Chitral, where is the money spent? One Kailash woman Laiba  says that we are facing a lot of problems due to the poor condition of the road and lack of facilities. If any accident happens on the road, who will be responsible? Government or our representative.

A woman tourist from Karachi Miss Uzma  said, "I came five years ago. Now when I come again, I don't see any change. We heard in the media that there was a big change in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa but we didn't see any change. One Kailash Qazi also said that our dancing place  where the Kailash women perform dance, is too narrow and our women cannot perform their religious rituals freely. Instead of spending crores of rupees  only in papers It would have been nice if you had expanded the balcony.

However, one Kailash woman said that we expect the nominated Member Provincial Assembly  Wazir  ​​Zada, a minority member, to improve the condition of our roads through the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government and work for development here. Some tourists from Karachi said that there is no facility for tourists and we cannot buy anything we need due to the closure of shops in the night. On the other way, the darkness and the frozen  water on the roads make the snow, which makes the tourists very slippery. They fall off and are prone to break hands and feet.

Residents of the Kailash Valley and the tourists coming here demand the Government to properly inisiat inquiry and accountability for the funds that Tourism Corporation Khyber Pakhtunkhwa spends in paper in the name of promoting of tourism so that the approved  fund  should be spent on development and necessary steps should be taken to facilitate the tourists. It should be noted that despite the cold weather, many tourists from all parts of the country and even from abroad have come to visit in large numbers, but due to lack of facilities, these tourists suffer from dumb problems.

These tourists demanded from the government agencies for construction of roads and provision of other facilities to promote tourism in this scenic valley will  really provide facilities here so that if the tourists get facilities there will be an increase in the number of tourists and with this exchange the poverty will eradicate  from this backward area. As well as tourism can play vital role in alleviation of poverty from this area.
