For the Youth of Pakistan Asad Umar Introduces Start-up Programme 


Asad Umar—the Minister for Planning and Development has introduced start-up programme for the youth of Pakistan. He said that the youth is the asset of the nation, and they would be fully facilitated for starting their businesses.

While addressing a soft launching of the Start-up Pakistan Program in the federal capital on Monday, he said that this step would be creating jobs and would boost the economic activities in the nation in an inclusive, sustainable and scalable way. He said that one million students would be trained via 10,000 start-up programs by 2023.

He said that jobs are being created by the small entrepreneurs globally and Pakistan would be successful in it.

He said that the youth should adopt and think big starting from the small approach for success. He said that the program would be expanded all across the nation.

The special assistant to PM on Youth Affairs—Usman Dar said that this program would make the trainees’ job providers, not the job seekers.

He said that this program provides mentorship, training, funding and a variety of perks and advantages with the objective of providing for the entrepreneurs.

He mentioned that 1 million youth applied for the loans under the Kamyab Jawan Program in the initial 15 days of the launch.

The Special Assistant would soon be distributing the cheques amongst the applicants.

Usman Dar added that the government is also launching Skill for All and Internship Programmes for enabling the youth to stand on their feet. He said that job opportunities would be created both in the government and the private sectors. (WebDesk)
