Karachi: In reference to the video circulating on Social Media regarding the harassment of a female employee at their office premises Faysal bank condemns the act and release an official statement:-
Faysal Bank’s official statement in response to the video circulating on social media
Faysal Bank strongly condemns such individual act of unprofessional behavior and work place harassment by an employee, which is contrary to the strong value system, ethical standards and professional work environment being maintained by the Bank for all its employees.
We would like to inform that the identified employee has been terminated effective immediately and all necessary actions are being taken against him in line with our code of conduct, HR policies and other legal requirements.
We would also like to confirm that contrary to the circulating post, the involved employee is not a Branch Manager.
Faysal Bank takes pride in being a responsible employer, and we remain fully committed to providing a safe working environment for all of our colleagues – with professionalism and (mutual and individual) employee respect being a part of our ethos and core values at the Bank.
We sincerely regret this individual act of harassment. We will continue to have zero tolerance for any act of workplace harassment and will continue to maintain a professional work place environment for all of our employees, Insha’Allah.
