ILMA University celebrates the graduation of its students at the 18th Convocation Ceremony

ILMA University celebrated the graduation of its students at its 18th Convocation Ceremony. The event occurred at Pearl Continental Hotel Karachi and witnessed 405 graduates receiving well-deserved degrees from multidimensional faculties, including Management Sciences, Computer Science & Science & Technology, and Media & Design. 



The Convocation Ceremony was graced by several distinguished guests, including dignitaries from the government, industry leaders, academic professionals, and ILMA University’s faculty and staff. Their presence added to the prestige of the event. At this moment, the Counsel General of Malaysia, H.E. Herman Hardynata Ahmad, gave a keynote speech highlighting the Pakistan Malaysia Bilateral Relationship in uplifting socio-economic and educational sectors of both countries. The dignitaries also included Deputy Counsel General of Japan HE Yasushi Nakagawa, Pakistan Ambassador to Maldives Admiral Mukhtar, Special Assistant to Chief Minister Pir Noor, MPA Syeda Marvi Fasih, MD Gerrys Group Arshad Wali Muhammad, Actor Farhan Agha, Owner Alkaram Towels Industries Rehan Chawla, Secretary Universities Board Muhammad Mureed Rahimoon, Senator Qayum Soomro, Special Assistant to CM Sindh on Commerce Faraz Abid Lakhani, CEO Pierlite & Coarts Perwez Haroon Madraswala, Member (IRS) FBR Dr Aftab Inam, CEO Essa Lab Prof. Dr Farhan Essa Abdullah and many other prominent personalities. 


ILMA University recognised the achievements of its students by bestowing Gold, Silver, and Bronze Medals among 28 high achievers. Further, 19 Alumni Excellence Gold medals were awarded amongst 19 Alumni.


The industry continued supporting the university through donations/grants worth Rs. 2.5 million, the names include Faizan Steel, Alkaram Towels Industries and S. Fazalillahi & Sons. 


The Chancellor, Mr Noman Abid Lakhani (T.I.), shared his high hopes that the graduates will use their newly acquired knowledge and skills to impact their respective fields and communities positively. The families and friends of the graduates were delighted to share in the joy and pride of their loved ones.
