UK Chief of General Staff Praises Pakistan Army's Leadership and Integrity
United Kingdom’s Chief of General Staff General Sir Patrick Sanders commended the leadership of Chief of Army Staff General Asim Munir and praised the “honesty and integrity” of the officers of the Pakistan Armed Forces. Gen Sanders spoke highly of the Pakistani military during a luncheon in London, honoring senior British military men of the Quetta Association who studied and served in Pakistan Army’s Command and Staff College. He highlighted Pakistan as UK Army’s foremost priority in Defence Association and Defence Collaboration, acknowledging Pakistan's strategic importance. Gen Sanders regretted that his upcoming visit to Pakistan would be his last in uniform, emphasizing Pakistan's significance as a country at the center of the East and West, known for its battle-hardened army and defense capabilities.
