Lower Chitral – Five members of a family in Bakrabad, Lower Chitral, were hospitalized after suffering from gas leakage. Upon receiving an emergency call, a Rescue 1122 team immediately dispatched to the scene in Bakrabad. The affected family members were promptly transported to DHQ Hospital Lower Chitral via a Rescue 1122 ambulance.

District Emergency Officer Zafaruddin confirmed that Rescue 1122 is maintaining its 24/7 emergency service provision to the public, even during the current snowfall. In addition to responding to emergencies like the gas leakage incident, Rescue 1122 teams are actively working to clear snow and restore traffic flow within Chitral Town and on the Chitral Town Approach Road. Authorities are advising the public to avoid unnecessary travel during periods of rain and snowfall to ensure their safety and allow emergency services to operate effectively.
