#Coca-Cola Beverages Pakistan Limited CCBPL organizes ‘Women of Substance’ event

Coca-Cola Beverages Pakistan Limited (CCBPL) celebrated the International Women’s Day through a unique event entitled “Women of Substance – Aspire to Inspire”, in which 7 distinguished female speakers from different walks of life were invited to meet with CCBPL employees and deliver inspirational talks related to the company’s core values of Passion, Integrity, Teamwork and Accountability. 



The event which was held at the CCBPL head office celebrated women achievers in the society through the invited speakers, each of whom has made an invaluable contribution in her field, while setting the bar high and also paving the way for other women to follow.

The 7 speakers included Rahat Kaunain Hassan, senior partner at Hassan Kunain Nafees and former head of the Competition Commission Pakistan, Prof. Dr. Mariam Malik, head of Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, Zareen Aziz, President, First Women Bank Ltd, Sister Marie Cecile Osborne, provincial Superior of Convent of Jesus and Mary, Sehyr Anis, development practitioner and entrepreneur, Shahima Rehman, development professional involved in the health, education and social development sectors, Rakhshinda Perveen, Communication Director Go-Fig Solutions, Elli Takagaki, CEO of Paper Miracles and Shehrbano Rizvi, social entrepreneur and COO of Popin Jay.

The event included a silent gallery with a photography exhibit, which showcased women being empowered and breaking stereotypes within the society. The forum was designed to further highlight the attitude that everyone needs to have and be receptive towards having savvy & successful women side by side at workplaces and within the society in general.
