Karachi #Police launches Emergency Alert Code in collaboration with #Ufone

کراچی پولیس نے یوفون کے اشتراک سے ایمرجنسی الرٹ کوڈ شروع کرنے کا اعلان کردیا

کراچی: ملک بھر میں تعلیمی اداروں کو درپیش بڑھتے ہوئے سیکورٹی خطرات سے نمٹنے کے لئے کراچی پولیس نے یوفون کے ساتھ سنگل کلک پر مشتمل ایمرجنسی الرٹ کوڈ (ای اے سی ) شروع کرنے کا اعلان کردیا ہے۔ اس نظام سے پولیس کے سیکورٹی آپریشنز مکمل اور مستحکم رہنے میں مدد ملے گی ۔ 

اپنے اس منظم سیکورٹی نظام کو متحرک کرنے کے لئے اسکول میں اسٹاف اراکین اور دیگر تعلیمی اداروں کے یوفون نمبروں کو محکمہ تعلیم اور پولیس کی شراکت داری کے ساتھ رجسٹرڈ کرانا ہوگا۔ اسی طرح اسکولوں کو اجازت ہوگی کہ وہ آن لائن یا کراچی کے پولیس اسٹیشنوں میں دستیاب فارم بھر کر انفرادی طور پر اپنی یوفون سمیں رجسٹر ڈ کروائیں ۔ نمبر کی رجسٹریشن کے ساتھ ہی یہ عمل ایک بار مکمل ہوجائے گا اور کسی بھی الارم پر قریب ترین پولیس اسٹیشن اور متعلقہ پولیس حکام کو الرٹ چلاجائے گا تاکہ اسکول کے تحفظ کے لئے ضروری اقدام اٹھایا جائے۔ الرٹ کا یہ نظام اسکول کے نام کے ساتھ ساتھ اس الارم کو بھیجنے والے شخص کے نام کی تفصیلات سے بھی آگاہ کرے گا۔ 

یوفون کی کاروباری سماجی ذمہ داری کی خاص بات یہ ہے کہ ای اے سی (ایمرجنسی الرٹ کوڈ ) بالکل مفت ہے اور محض ناکافی موبائل بیلنس کی وجہ سے الارم بھیجنے میں کسی قسم کی رکاوٹ پیدا نہیں ہوگی۔ اس کے علاوہ اس کو موثر طور پر چلانے کے لئے جدید ترین موبائل فون کی ضرورت نہیں۔ اس عمل میں شامل سینئر پولیس افسران اور دیگر اسٹیک ہولڈرز کے پاس لائیو رپورٹنگ کے لئے موجود پورٹل تک بھی رسائی ہوگی۔ 

ایڈیشنل انسپکٹر جنرل پولیس کراچی غلام قادر تھیبو نے بتایا کہ

یہ ایک منفرد سیکورٹی الارم سسٹم ہے جو پولیس کو فوری سیکورٹی کے قابل بنا دے گا اور پاکستان کی نسل کو تحفظ فراہم کرنے کی کوششوں میں یہ نظام پولیس کی معاونت کرے گا۔ ضرورت کی اس گھڑی میں جدت کے حوالے سے یوفون کی نہ صرف یہ کاوشیں قابل تعریف ہیں بلکہ سیکورٹی کی جانب تعاون میں پیش قدمی کے ذریعے قوم کو یہ احساس دلاتی ہیں کہ اس کا خیال رکھنے کے لئے کوئی ادارہ موجود ہے۔ 

موبائل فنانشل سروسز اور ایم-گورننس کے ہیڈ نعمان اظہر نے ملک اور بالخصوص تعلیم کے حصول کے لئے سرگرداں بچوں کو محفوظ بنانے کے لئے کمپنی کی کاوش کے بارے میں بتایا کہ اس اقدام کے ذریعے یوفون کے اس عزم کا اظہار ہوتا ہے کہ ملک کو کچھ نتیجہ خیز انداز میں لوٹایا جائے۔ اپنے نظام میں تیکنیکی جدت کو ملانے کی اپنی حکمت عملی کے ساتھ ہم نے ایک میکنزم قائم کیا ہے جو پولیس کو ہنگامی حالات میں فوری سہولت فراہم کرے گا۔ 

یوفون کے ایمرجنسی الرٹ کوڈ کے ذریعے بہت سارے شہریوں میں بوقت ضرورت فوری امداد کے حوالے سے امید پیدا ہوگئی ہے۔ 

Karachi Police launches Emergency Alert Code in collaboration with Ufone

Karachi: In wake of the growing security concerns for educational institutes throughout the country, Karachi Police in collaboration with Ufone has launched a single click Emergency Alert Code (EAC) to strengthen and compliment the security operations of the Police department.

In order to activate this well thought out security system, Ufone numbers of the school staff members and other educational institutes will be registered in collaboration with the education department and Police. Likewise, the schools will also be allowed to individually register their Ufone SIMs by filling up the forms available online or at the Police Stations in Karachi. Once this process has been completed, following the registration of the number, any alarm triggered through it would alert the nearest Police Station and relevant police official to take necessary action to safeguard the school. The alert code would also send details containing the name of the school as well as the name of the person who generated the alarm.

An added advantage of Ufone’s CSR based Emergency Alert Code (EAC) is that it’s free of cost which would not render any alarm ineffective simply due to the insufficiency of mobile credit. Also, it does not require any high-end mobile phones to be effectively functional.The system would also have a portal for live reporting, extended to all senior Police officials and all other stakeholders involved.

Speaking about the effort of the company towards building a safer country, especially for education seekers, Noman Azhar, Head of Financial Services and M-Governance at Ufone, said, 

“This initiative reflects Ufone’s determination to give back to the country in a meaningful way. Following our strategy of incorporating technological advance in our system, we have instilled a mechanism that would facilitate the Police in promptly dealing with emergency situations.”

Ufone’s Emergency Alert Code has made many citizens hopeful in terms of acquiring immediate help when needed.
