Ufone Launches Inspire Platform to Empower Women in the Workplace
Ufone has launched a platform called Inspire as a step to bring about progressive change to its workplace culture by encouraging women aspirants to step out of their comfort zones and pursue leadership positions.
Inspire’s launch event was held recently, at Ufone Tower, Islamabad where guest speaker – Madiha Khalid (Director HR), Shell Pakistan Limited shared her journey as a working woman in the corporate sector with Ufone employees.
Inspire is an interactive platform through which Ufone aims to inspire and empower women and men across the organization to engage in purposeful career development and improve the scope for gender diversity within the company with this platform. With the help of successful role models at leadership positions,
Ufone aims to broaden men’s perspectives and encourage them to support women in their professional journey by providing examples of how a diverse set of perspectives can benefit the company. Ufone plans to conduct Inspire sessions every quarter for its employees.
