بیگم نسیم ولی خان نے نئی پارٹی بنا لی۔۔۔ پارٹی کا نام عوامی نیشنل پارٹی ولی گروپ رکھ دیا۔۔۔ انہوں نے اسفندیار سے بچا خان مرکز کو فوری خالی کرنے کا مطالبہ بھی کردیا۔۔ اس موقع پر نواز لیگ کے رہنما فرید طوفان نے بھی اس پارٹی میں شمولیت کا اعلان کردیا۔۔۔
PESHAWAR: Begum Naseem Wali Khan, a veteran politician and widow of Abdul Wali Khan, formally launched her party, Awami National Party (Wali-group).
“The party re-organisation will be carried out across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa till April 2014, with the same manifesto like ANP founded by Khand Abdul Ghaffar Khan, well-known as Bacha Khan, said Begum Naseem Wali, while speaking to media persons after formally launching of her separate faction ANP-Wali here on Wednesday.
She said the red colour of the party’s flag would remain unchanged but only having with the name of Wali Khan. She said that she had repeatedly asked Asfandyar Wali Khan to vacate Bacha Khan Markaz and immediately hand it over to the real follower of non-violence philosopher Khan Abdul Ghafar Khan and Khan Abdul Wali Khan.
On this occasion, Pakistan Muslim League-N leader Farid Toofan announced to rejoin the party. Toofan vowed to keep up the mission of non-violence philosophers and said he was serving the party for the last 48 years and he did not quit the party but the corrupt leadership of ANP forced him to leave.
He further reiterated that the faction ANP-W would have no place for corrupt leaders and that party would represent Pakhtuns of Fata and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in real sense. He added they would prove that ANP-W was the party of poor and real workers of Bacha Khan and Wali Khan.
He rejected the tall claims of Asfandyar Wali Khan and company that they had registered 0.5 million people in their party, saying those so-called leaders had ruined the party and they could not prove membership of only 0.1 million members of the party.
“We have no difference with them but we are demanding to hand over the party to real heirs of Bacha Khan and Wali Khan as the incumbent self-centred leadership is no more able to run the affair of the ANP,” he explained.
He also informed that Bacha Khan Markaz had been made on the name of Begum Naseem Wali Khan and for that purpose a committee had been made, which would also be chaired by Begum Naseem Wali Khan.
Regarding talks with Taliban, Farid Toofan said they wanted peace in the country and that was why they were supporting government negotiation with Taliban. He said they were not ready to see more dead bodies of poor Pakhtuns and other countrymen in that so-called war against terrorism.
