Dawood Public School’s results improved by 23% in 2014

Karachi, August 19, 2014: Dawood Public School, a well-renowned and leading girls’ school in Karachi, established over 30 years ago, has started off the new academic year with the good news of achieving 23% improvement in the overall O-levels results in 2014 as compared to the preceding year. The school has a track record of 100% pass rate in O-Levels which is again achieved this year. Moreover, the school, which imparts knowledge to over 2000 students, has increased its capacity starting from August 2014 due to the increasing demand for admission. 

Dawood Public School’s vision is to empower women and develop their capability to be productive citizens of this country. The school has a well-established reputation of producing excellent academic results; and now to further support its students to choose subjects of their interest, the School introduced additional  subjects to be offered in ‘O’ and ‘A’ levels, supplementing these with fully equipped labs and an art studio certified by the Cambridge International Examinations (CIE). Quranic classes and civic sense classes have also been improved to nurture the students' religious and moral needs. Furthermore, to encourage a zero-tuition culture, extra classes have been incorporated as part of the daily routine where students will receive appropriate attention to meet their academic needs.

Dawood Public School has always taken initiatives that impart knowledge and enhance our students’ skills through extracurricular activities. The school focuses on providing not only excellent academic education but also on including productive extracurricular activities in the curriculum that enhances a child’s cognitive capacity. An indoor play area has also been established with emulation of everyday routines such as a play kitchen, clinic, supermarket, etc. to enhance imaginative learning. The school has launched a mother-toddler playgroup to ease young ones into school life in a fun filled way along with a cognitive activity room that encourages children to explore and learn through puzzles and other educational games.
