PIA air-hostess arrested in Milan for smuggling drugs

MILAN (24 Sep 2014 -  Air hostess of Pakistan International Airline (PIA) has been arrested in Milan on suspicion of carrying heavy amount of drugs.

According to media reports PIA’s Flight PK 733 was heading towards Paris but forced to land in Milan city of Italy on the tip-off that someone had drugs on board the flight.

Upon searching, heavy amount of drugs was recovered and Police arrested the air hostess. After a six hours stay, the plane set off towards the destination. So far PIA administration has neither rejected nor confirmed the arrest of air hostess.

PIA hostess arrested in heroin case

Islamabad: (July 24, 2014) PIA hostess arrested in London due to smuggling of 77 gram heroin in laptop from Islamabad to Manchester. Air hostess named “Tauheed Noorani” was smuggling heroin in laptop where she arrested on airport after coming from London by foreign police.

While talking to the police Tauheed Noorani said that my senior officer handed over a laptop to me in which 77 gram heroin was present and I was not aware from this. Police left airhostess on bale however police subjected her to 15 month imprisonment in guilty of smuggling heroin from Islamabad to Manchester. Air hostess filed a petition against the court order. She was born in 1954 and would retire in next year.
