Ufone empowers CDA with 3G Activity Management System

Ufone, with its mission of penetrating technology in Pakistan and empowering institutions through their 3G technology base, has recently launched a new 3G based activity management system for the Capital Development Authority (CDA) and to support the end to end process has provided 3G enabled Samsung Mobile Phones to CDA.

This new solution will now allow CDA management to keep track of the activities of its employees on ground, supplemented by location and pictures of the required areas. With the help of the latest management system, the authority will be able to assign tasks to its employees, monitor the work in progress and view a time stamped feed of the activities. To start with, this innovative system has been handed over to encroachment and enforcement departments of CDA who will be effectively using it in their day to day operations. 

Speaking about the launch of this system, Mr. Noman Azhar, Head of Financial Services, Ufone said, “This management system will primarily help CDA in time administration, better utilization of financial and human resources, whereby setting a precedent for others to follow suit.”

He added, “We are working on more such innovative solutions with the use of the available 3G technology.”

Mr. Maroof Afzal, Chairman CDA on this occasion said, “We thank Ufone for introducing this high-end and innovative management system for CDA and providing thirty Samsung devices for free as it will help us increase our efficiency and productivity, whereby utilizing these resources in other areas.”

It is the first of its kind 3G enabled mobile application and web interface in the country, powered by Samsung’s 3G enabled (free of cost) android handsets.
