سعودی عرب اور اتحادی افواج کی یمن میں فضائی کارروائی کے نتیجے میں چوبیس گھنٹے سے زائد وقت میں 39افراد مارے گئے ہیں ۔
باغیوں کے زیرکنٹرول وزارت صحت کاکہناتھاکہ بارہ شہری صنعاءکے شمال میں واقع فوجی اڈے پر حملے میں مار ے گئے، حملے کے دوران اردگرد کے رہائشی علاقے بھی زد میں آگئے ۔
جمعہ کی صبح طیاروں نے صنعاءکے جنوب میں واقع صدارتی محل پر تین حملے کیے جو گذشتہ ماہ سے باغیوں کے قبضے میں ہے ۔
عینی شاہدین کے مطابق طیاروں نے السماءبیس کو بھی نشانہ بنایاجہاں سابق کمانڈر احمد علی صالح یعنی باغیوں کے وفادار یونٹس موجود تھے، رات کو مشرقی صوبے مارب میں بھی آرمی کے ایک بریگیڈ کو نشانہ بنایاگیا۔
ملٹری حکام نے اے ایف پی کو بتایاکہ سعودی اتحادیوں نے صنعا کے جنوبی نواحی علاقے میں ایک اور آرمی کیمپ کو بھی نشانہ بنایاجس کے نتیجے میں وہاں موجود درجنوں افراد مارے گئے لیکن آزادذرائع سے تصدیق نہیں ہوسکی ۔
دوسری طرف یمن کی صورتحال کے پیش نظر مصر نے فضائی سروس غیرمعینہ مدت کیلئے ملتوی کردی ہے ۔
At least 39 civilians have been killed in more than 24 hours of Saudi-led air strikes against Shi'ite rebels in Yemen.
Twelve of the victims were killed when a raid against a military base north of Sanaa hit surrounding residential areas, officials from the rebel-controlled ministry said on Friday.
Witnesses said warplanes targeted Al-Samaa base, which is used by army units believed to take orders from their former commander Ahmed Ali Saleh.
Saleh is the son of ousted president Ali Abdullah Saleh, who is accused of allying with the Huthi rebels against President Abedrabbo Mansour Hadi.
At dawn on Friday, three air strikes hit the presidential compound in south Sanaa which the rebels seized last month, witnesses said.
Overnight raids targeted another army brigade loyal to Saleh in the eastern province of Marib, tribal sources said.
A military official said Saudi-led coalition jets also bombed a large arms depot in a third army camp used by forces loyal to the former strongman.
The official spoke of 'dozens' of casualties at the camp, located in Sanaa's southern outskirts but the information could not be independently verified. - AFP
