اسلام آباد: وفاقی وزیر داخلہ چوہدری نثارعلی کا کہنا ہےکہ ایم کیوایم کے مرکز نائن زیرو پر کارروائی انٹیلی جنس رپورٹ پر کی گئی۔
ایکسپریس نیوز کے مطابق چوہدری نثار علی نے کہا کہ کراچی میں جاری آپریشن پر تمام جماعتوں کو اعتماد میں لیا گیا ہے اور ایم کیو ایم کے مرکز نائن زیرو پر بھی رینجرز کی کارروائی قانون کے مطابق ہے جو انٹیلی جنس رپورٹ کی بنیاد پر کی گئی تھی جب کہ قانون کے دائرے میں کارروائی پولیس اور رینجرز کی ذمہ داری ہے۔
چوہدری نثار کا کہنا تھا کہ کراچی میں فوجی آپریشن ایم کیوایم کا مطالبہ تھا، وزیراعظم نے کابینہ کی منظوری کے بعد آپریشن کا حکم دیا جب کہ یہ بھی فیصلہ ہوا تھا کہ آپریشن کی راہ میں سیاسی وابستگیاں حائل نہیں ہوں گی۔
واضح رہے کہ آج صبح رینجرز نے ایم کیوایم کےمرکز نائن زیرو پر چھاپہ مارا جس میں سزا یافتہ اور جرائم پیشہ افراد کی گرفتاری سمیت جدید اسلحہ برآمد کرنے کا بھی دعویٰ کیا گیا جب کہ اس دوران فائرنگ سے ایم کیوایم کا ایک کارکن بھی جاں بحق ہوا۔ ایکسپریس نیوز
Raid on MQM headquarters not wrong or unlawful: Nisar
ISLAMABAD: Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan has said that raid conducted by Rangers on Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) headquarters ‘Nine Zero’ is not wrong or unlawful, and the action was taken on intelligence reports, which is a step in positive direction. Responding to hue and cry raised over the crackdown on ‘Nine Zero’ on Wednesday morning, Chaudhry Nisar while defending the action said that Rangers personnel did nothing wrong and unlawful at the MQM headquarters. He said that the MQM had itself demanded a military operation in Karachi, but now when action was taken, its elements were trying to politicise the issue and prove itself guiltless and innocent. Nisar underlined that all political parties were taken into confidence for Karachi operation. The prime minister had given the go-ahead for operation against criminals after approval of the cabinet. Meanwhile, Leader of the House in Senate Raja Muhammad Zafarul Haq strongly rejected the allegation of Muttahida Qaumi Movement that the ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) was behind the raid at its head office in Karachi. “This allegation is totally wrong and baseless. I strongly and categorically reject it,” he said, speaking in the Senate in response to an MQM senator who had accused the ruling party of taking action at the party’s head office. INP
