Pakistan Peoples’ Party-Shaheed Bhutto (PPP-SB) Chairperson Ghinwa Bhutto said she wanted know that who gave fake reports of Mir Murteza Bhutto to Benazir Bhutto and who killed SHO Haq Nawaz Siyal. She said that Zardari would have to explain his role in this whole matter.
Addressing a large public gathering at Garhi Khuda Bux on Sunday evening to mark the 19th death anniversary of PPP-SB founder and her husband Mir Murtaza Bhutto, she asked that Zardari must reply who killed Alam Baloch and his son and who got Benazir Bhutto assassinated.
She asked how much money was given to parliamentarians to buy their votes for the presidential election. She said Zardari had also to reply many more questions.
She asked Pervaiz Musharraf why he invited corrupt people and looters to Pakistan through illegal NRO. She also asked former CJP Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry why he did not take suo motu notice of the 70 Clifton incident.
Ghinwa said she would never pardon those responsible in the 70 Clifton carnage.
She termed the local bodies system anti-people and another side of the same coin. She said if the privatized institutions were not renationalized and agricultural reforms were not introduced on war footing basis, democracy would not take deep roots in Pakistan.
She paid rich tributes to slain human rights activist Sabeen Mehmood for her candid struggle for freedom of speech. She also praised the efforts of Perveen Rahman and Batool Siddiqui. Ali Ahmed Palipoto, Ghulam Hyder Narejo and other provincial heads of the PPP-SB also addressed the meeting.
Seven different resolutions were also unanimously passed. One resolution saluted the martyrs of Badaber airbase carnage. Another resolution condemned the recent Kissan Package announced by Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif terming it a deceit. Another resolution condemned massive corruption in Pakistan due to which the state institutions have been ruined.
