Kuwaiti airline #JazeeraAirways Started The First Flight Service In Karachi After Two Decades
This direct route will improve trade, political, social and cultural relationships between the two countries.
During 2018, the exports from Kuwait crossed the $1.5 million mark whereas, the exports from Pakistan has reached $180 million.
The launch has come as part of our strategy for looking after the large expatriates and business communities in Kuwait-CEO Jazeera Airways
Kuwait-based Jazeera Airways has started direct flights to Karachi in Pakistan. This is the first service in two decades between Kuwait and Karachi and the second for the airline to Pakistan.
More than 130k Pakistanis reside in Kuwait. During 2018, the exports from Kuwait crossed the $1.5 million mark, due to oil exports. However, the exports from Pakistan to Kuwait has reached $180 million.
Jazeera Airways CEO, Rohit Ramachandran quoted:
“We are very pleased to have launched our new service to Karachi and offer our customers direct and transit routes to Pakistan’s premier economic and social hub,”
The CEO further added that the launch is a part of the strategy to make business easy and promote religious tourism in the Middle East and Europe through Kuwait. This service will also help to support and grow trade relations between the two nations.
Ashar Shahzad, the charged affairs on behalf of the Embassy of Pakistan said it’s an honor for us that from 21 November 2019, Jazeera Airways has started flights from Kuwait to Karachi. There were no direct flights between Karachi and Kuwait before this service.

Total Duration and Schedule
From Kuwait to Karachi, the total time of the flight between the two countries is 2 hours and 45 minutes. However, from Karachi to Kuwait, it will take 3 hours and 30 minutes.
The scheduled flights leave on Thursdays from Kuwait at the local time at 10:00 pm and return from Karachi at 3:30 am on Friday.
